Unclaimed Freight & Lqdtn Sales

I bought an IBC matress from this store on 7/26/10. It was a firm queene size, and cost $254.95. I knew it wasn't the most expensive matress, but I was hoping it last a couple of years. This matress didn't last three months. It lost its shape, and support. It actually looked flattened, and deformed. You could feel the springs poking you in your side. It came with a one year warranty. I faxed in my sales receipt after the manager Mike informed me to do so. The warranty said the matress had to be used inconjuction with an mathing foundation, or equivalant, and an appropriate frame. The tag on the matress also stated the matress could be used on a boxspring, or platform bed. Mike called me back, and stated my matress could not be exchanged because it was not used on an IBC Boxspring even though the warranty contradicted what he was saying. He then told me he would call the company back, and see if he could get my warranty honored. I gave him a week, and he never called me back. I then called him back on Nov 8th, 2010 and he informed me the company wanted to see proof that the matress was on a IBC Boxsping. I told him the warranty did not say this. He agreed, and stated he did not know why The IBC matress company was saying this. He would not given me a name who he spoke with at the matress company, or any of his supervisors. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the PA attorney general office to try, and get my money back. The sold me a cheap matress that was nothing but a piece of foam with cheap springs. My advice to anyone is never buy any furniture at Unclaimed Freight in York. I learned to look at what I am buying more closely, and there are too many people in this world ripping others off.
