PODS Moving & Storage

Wonderful

INCREDIBLE experience. Moved from FL to NV and PODS made it a breeze. Drop off of the container in FL was on time so was pick up and they dropped off my container in NV on the scheduled day. Best part of pods is that you lock your pods and you are the only one with the keys, so no boxes or missing items. Just a fabulous experience from beginning to end. Special shoutout to Morile who dropped off and picked up my POD in Miami who was so nice and explained how to properly close and lock my POD. Never thought I'd love am love a moving company so much.

UPDATE: No remedy has really yet been offered by the company as the days tick by. So after being told to pay for a moving service or do everything ourselves, we made the arrangements to rent a trailer, find a few very generous friends and family to help, and went to go get our belongings from the Pods storage center. Everything arrived at the location only to discover that is was CLOSED during regular business hours, which were listed online and we checked. Despite many phone calls, emails, and trying to get this mess sorted out, they failed to tell us that we would have to schedule a time to pick up our things from the location itself at least a day in advance. This is not clear on the website. There are no local numbers for locations at all, not even an automatic message to warn customers ahead of time. So after ALL of that, we couldn't even get our possessions from the storage center, which is not what we were told on the phone at all. I can understand not having access to things very late at night, but not being able to get in the door during the middle of the day during a weekend, the time most people would have free to time to move, is beyond ridiculous and frustrating. I deeply regret ever using this company. The expense, frustration, and stress are not worth any convenience they claim to offer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Refused to deliver to location 25 miles (20 minutes of highway travel) from the center of a city, despite offering to pay extra, be flexible on dates, or anything else. We cannot talk to anyone with any authority to justify this major problem. Instead we were told to use another moving company with no other remedy offered, such as delivering our rented Pod somewhere closer to our destination. We now have to move everything ourselves at our own expense and pay for extra Pods rental at their facility. For a family with a disabled family member, this is extremely frustrating and disappointing. We would not recommend this company, and I regret not using U-haul instead. At least their locations are more spread out, trucks are right there, and we wouldn't have to travel over an hour one way just to get our possessions. The agents on the phone were very nice and understanding, but the decision makers are brutal, inflexible, and put both our family and their own agents in a terrible position.

This is a good company but the WORST website ever!. You can't update your address without going through customer service. You can't update your credit card information without going through customer service. You can't do anything without going through customer service. Then when you chat with customer service, they say you need to call customer service and wait 30 minutes for someone to answer. This is ridiculous. I won't be using this service again simply for the fact your website is horrible and makes it completely inconvenient for your customer.

Good communication. Super accommodating since I needed an extra day to load my pod. Made sure my paperwork was ready to go.
