I brought my Gibson SG to Dave Phillips to remove a broken auto tuner and install conventional Gibson tuning pegs I bought. I was nervous about giving my guitar to anyone but I trusted Dave Phillips and I was not at all disappointed. I have had the guitar back for over a month and it plays great and it stays in tune, which is saying something about a Gibson. Not a scratch on the finish. You can tell these people care. It used to be A LOT better. It's gone down a fair amount the past year or two. I don't know what's up, but when ever I go in, it always feels like it's closing. Sometimes there rude, sometimes there great. Sometimes they get work done quick, sometimes it takes 3 weeks. I bought one or two guitars from here, one has been my main axe for years, and they completely took care of me. But I tried to buy a tele from here and it was a ghost town, no one wanted to help. Good acoustic room tho, can't complain on that end.
