Strongly do not recommend coming here for computer repairs. I took my laptop in for a small repair, they first quoted me a week and a reasonable price to fix it. I called back in a week and they told me it would be another week. Long story short it took close to six weeks (during midterms). They never called to update me, I was always the one calling for an update. Not to mention when I did finally get my laptop it was double what they originally quoted me. There was a strong lack of communication, and lack of knowledge on how to actually repair my laptop efficiently. Overall, very displeased with the service I received.

Over the years I have purchased several items from El-Gene's and have always been pleased with their service. Whether on phone or in person I'm always treated with respect and kindness.

I was looking for a uncommon USB cord for a project. I'm glad I thought to check here. Friendly service, too!

Laptop repair was clean. Out of all laptop repair companies, small and large, nearby and in IF, they were the only ones who would and could get the job done. I had small M2 stripped screws and they did it quick and easy. Recommend with other services! Great people!

Had the adapter we needed really didn’t want to go to Walmart cause it’s a zoo so we went here and the people are very nice.
