Melyssa’s Piano Studio

I got tired of her after 3 no shows at the studio and several last minute cancellations/reschedulings in just 6 months I had my daughter on her lessons. I asked her a refund and texted her several times asking her to act professionally and as a responsible adult, but she never responded to my texts. She does not want to show up to the lessons or communicate to me, but she wants to keep the money. I don't want to say too much, but please do your homework and look her up on public records before you put your kids on her lessons with a shady person...I believe she has serious issues in her personal life, which are affecting her business. You did not respond to my texts, not just in a timely manner (in a day), but sometime at all. You still have not responded to my texts, but you felt the need to respond to my review? How can 36 year old woman act like this ???nnYou originally said you will be at the studio yesterday as scheduled after recovering from your serious health issue, and you have not given me a refund or a response. Why shouldn't I except for you to be there? I thought you would at lease show up to discuss the matter face to face or apologize for your missed lesson.nnYes! Let's go over all the texts! Whenever I had to ask a schedule change, I always give you 24 hour in advance as it is in your policy, so I don't owe you anything. You are prepaid anyway..... It's not difficult because my life in relatively in order. On the other hand, let's count how many times you ask the schedule changes at the last minute on the day of the lesson? Yes, things happen in life, and we all know that...but not as often as in your life. Even when Mischa had a gastroenteritis this summer, which was totally unexpected, I told you on Monday that she may not be able to make it tomorrow...I did not wait until the last minute to give you a heads up.nnIn fact, I counted everything for Melyssa since she insists:)!!nnMelyssa: 2 No showsn9 less than 24 hrs cancellations/reschedulesn1 more than 24 hrs cancellation/reschedulennFumie: 6 more than 24 hrs cancellations/reschedules ( Half of them were notified well over 1 week ago because we were going out of town)nnShe is already paid for 4 lessons in October she is not giving and refusing to reimburse!!nHow do I owe her several hundreds of dollars ?nEvidently, she is not very good at math:)!! I sincerely hope she can be more responsible, so she can stick to teaching piano.

Melyssa is simply wonderful. She is positive, upbeat and a true child whisperer. My daughter loves going to piano Class and always leaves feeling accomplished and ready to practice hard to reach the next level. It’s very obvious to see that Melyssa loves Piano, and all music, so who better to teach children to love and appreciate. She has a huge heart and genuinely loves all of her students. We are so blessed to have found her!

I highly recommend Melyssa. My daughter loves her and is always looking forward to going to lessons. She is a sweetheart and great with the kids.

Her love of the piano and passion for her students is apparent. She is fair and flexible with scheduling and her rates are reasonable.nnHer lessons are well-rounded and include musical theory history, performance, techniques and more. She asks her students for input and adjusts her lessons according to the student’s interests. She is patient and explains the lesson in a way that can be easily understood by a young student.
