Where do I begin.nnNate has helped me develop as a musician and songwriter. He is a master at his craft and makes the process of creating a song so easy and will take the time to get it right. This is my first time recording and I am so glad I decided to record with him. I appreciate how he can give me suggestions but I am still in control in what was I want to take the music. He has so many instruments and knowledge that it is easy. Can’t wait to record more here! Perfect!
Nate is an excellent craftsman and I couldn't be happier with both the experience of working in his studio and with the resulting music. He has a carefully selected set of exceptional gear and instruments and he's a pro at using it to accomplish whatever sound is required for the song. He's a detailed and organized engineer and also can jump in to assist with production with really good taste and insight into the music.

I cannot recommend Mixed Metaphor Records highly enough. Nate is incredibly knowledgeable, talented, and down to earth. I have only had rewarding experiences working with Nate. It's hard to find recording studios that have great acoustic sound-- this is the spot. Additionally, the backyard space is a great decompression space!
