Best record store, possibly ever. Derek is so thoughtful and knowledgeable about a wide range of music. He is great to talk to about the Boise music scene of the past and present. The store is well run and has a balanced selection of stuff. It is also great to see the community collaboration that Modern and other local businesses engage in to support each other and ultimately our whole community. Great model of business. Great owner. Great store. Go check it out and go back often.
Great record store. Very neighborhood feel. Derek is such a great owner. Within a couple visits he remembered stuff I like and always has cool recommendations. Super good prices too!
I love this place, because there is a 2 dollar record section that has a great selection. Where I could pay for the same album on discogs for ten bucks I can get it here for two.nThe guy that works the front desk is very helpful and will tell you what your looking for.
