Pastry Perfection has a wonderful selection of donuts, pastries, cakes, breads, and pies, and I have never been disappointed in any purchase. The prices are a little high, but I feel like you pay for what you get. What you get is quality, delicious bakery items. The reason for the low rating is due to employees (at least two) not wearing facial protection, and directly working with and serving the public. I experienced this on my visit today. Although in the midst of a world-wide pandemic, and the governor of Idaho moving the state back to an amended stage two, I found it very surprising to see employees interfacing with customers without facial coverings. Some individuals may view it as their right to wear or not wear a mask, I see this (the two employees serving the public not wearing facial coverings) as a public safety issue especially in a food service facility. I also see this as a business that is in defiance of a county-wide mandate, a mandate that is an effort to help people. I am disappointed to see this behavior in employees at Pastry Perfection, and I am really disappointed in the Pastry Perfection business. I would reconsider making future visits or purchases from this establishment due to my experience today. Disappointing.

I really used to love this bakery... Double charged... cake was late and looks nothing like picture I sent in... No apology was just given just solid attitudes. If you don't like it they can refund my money extremely salty employees... Since the cake was late I had no time to order any where else. I will not make that mistake twice. Never ordering cakes here again. It's bad enough the cake was late I paid twice as much as I did the last cake I order just a month ago, and this cake is half the size, the worst part is no apology. They simply do not care!

I ordered a Key Lime Pie for pickup near closing last Saturday and when I picked it up, it looked NOTHING like a Key Lime Pie. It “looked” like bright yellow pudding poured into a huge mound in a pastry shell with no lime zest in the filling. And the taste? NOTHING like key lime pie!!! It was simply lime custard pudding that I could have made at home myself. I called the mgmt on Monday and was told they don’t even make the filling at their store. The cream filling comes in a big bucket from a vendor and that’s what they call key lime pie. Save yourself $14 and go buy a box of Jello Pudding.

I wouldn't even give you guys 1 star. I'm so beyond disappointed in the cakes that I bought from you. You didn't make the tops the way I ordered and instead of calling me to ask if it was okay for you to change it, you just took it upon yourselves to do it the way you chose. I'm on a very limited income and I saved and struggled to obtain enough money to buy special Birthday cakes for my twins' 18th Birthday and I'm beyond upset and hurt. If you couldn't do them the way I requested them, you should have called me in advance and given me the option to find someone else that could or given you permission to change them. I will definitely NEVER come to you again and I will NEVER recommend you. Thanks for nothing!!!

I ordered a German Chocolate cake but for the price I paid I was pretty disappointed. The cake itself was not very chocolatey, like it was from a box. There was also not very much of the filling, which was the only part of the cake that was really good. The frosting was very mediocre too. Definitely not worth the $30+ I paid.
