Walker's Furniture & Mattress Yakima

First time home buyers, I recommend you come here! Amazing experience! This was my wife's and I first time buying furniture, and this was a fantastic experience with no pressure salespeople, and that feeling of no question is a dumb question. They helped us along the way and let us explore on our own! We have been in other furniture stores before walkers, and I believe walkers will be our go-to from now on.

This was our first time shopping at Walkers furniture. My husband and I have been blessed to receive household items from family, so we haven't really spent anytime looking for furniture. My expectatnion of furniture shopping was being constantly hounded by sales staff never leaving your side to make a decision. What I actually experienced at Walkers was very different. Attentive staff who were kind, helpful and not pushy. We purchased a very nice couch and felt pleased and well informed with what we were buying, no surprises. In the end, I would say with confidence we would buy from Walkers again.

We really needed a new mattress and Jason was such a great help to us. Very informative and not pushy. He gave my husband and I time to discuss all our options. Great experience and would consider going back in the future for other needs! Btw...We picked the I-comfort brand and I can’t wait for our first night sleep on it!!

I am posting this as I am waiting for response from the store. I received my partial order after waiting 6 weeks for my brand new sofa and oversized chair. Paid cash for the set only to be told the big chair was on back order. Ugh. Delivery day was a Friday and only the sofa arrived but we knew that was the case. I asked the delivery person why the furniture wasn’t wrapped. They said the reason for it was they inspect before it goes on the truck. Well I went off to work, and came home at the end of the day. Upon further inspection of the sofa I discovered there was a big gaping tear at the bottom of the sofa. I called right away to let them know. I was given an email to send the photos. I sent the photos, what I am still uneasy about is the sofa doesn’t look brand spanking new. The cushions didn’t look new and unused...prestine. I want this sofa returned and want a brand new one. I paid cash for “new” furniture and I don’t feel at all that is what I received. I wasn’t alerted the matching chair was back ordered until I was called to let me know the sofa came in I wanted to buy local but this is why I almost purchased from Macy’s again. I purchased a sectional from Macy’s three years ago for my family room, paid the same for delivery. My furniture looked and smelled new. I don’t want to wait seven weeks again for another sofa. I will take my refund instead and start all over somewhere else. We will be waiting for a call back I hope this gets resolved.nReturn phone call received first thing this morning. My sales rep was very nice, I explained I knew there was going to be a delay since everything happened on a Friday afternoon. I was happy with the resolution, they are going to leave the sofa at my home until the new replacement has been received. I thought that was fair and let him know that we will make sure the sofa stays in the best condition we will even go as far as covering it. This is my first time buying from them and I am glad they found the correct resolution. Things happen and as customers we put full and complete trust in who we are doing business with. I will be happy to refer once we have everything settled. Everyone has been pleasant to work with that wasnt my problem it was the product. Our customer service experience at Walker’s was amazing to say the least!! My fiancé and I felt very lucky to have had such great quality help from Jason the manager, and Francisco the very helpful employee that assisted us throughout our visit. All of our questions were throughly answered and we felt comfortable throughout our whole stay.nIn addition to the great service, the furniture pieces on the floor were beautifully made and felt to be made of great quality materials.nWe cannot wait to come back and to purchase more pieces for our home!
