Naomi's Piano Studio

Wanting my six year old son to hopefully grow up to be a well-rounded man some day, I signed him up for piano lessons at his school; the teacher was nice, and my son had some fun, but due to my son having to miss his art class sometimes and other activities, he wasn’t thrilled about going to his piano lessons. The teacher was very nice but things just weren’t clicking, so I withdrew him. I wanted to get back in piano lessons, but above all else I was looking for someone fun, who would my make my son smile, feel at ease, and let him go at his own pace (he’s six), after some looking for sometime, one day I came across Naomi and her Piano Studio, gave her a call, waited for an opening, and boom we were in. From the first day, Naomi made my son feel comfortable, measured his abilities, and she just took it from there. I was pleasantly surprised that such an accomplished piano teacher would be able to teach people of all skill levels. Fast forward a few months, at the start of a new school year, we moved my son’s piano near our kitchen area, so he can do his homework, and practice piano, as dad is cooking and taking care of other things, I can keep an eye out and help him if needed... and to my surprise one evening, I’m cooking away, and he gets up and sits at his piano and begins to play the theme from “Star Wars,” and it was actually good, like good-good, no stumbling through, he just played... I just stood there in awe, and had chills, to think what this little boy of six will be able to do when he is my age!!!? And honestly, it is because he likes his piano teacher and does not feel a lot of pressure at such a young age. As a father, I am thinking long term, smooth & steady wins the proverbial race... hopefully Naomi will be available for a long time to come. I cannot say enough about Naomi’s Piano Studio, except that we are so grateful she is there to teach our son, and help inspire what will hopefully be a life time of love for the piano, and music in general. What a wonderful gift! Could not be any happier!

My son has been with teacher Naomi for 3 years, and he has transformed in many ways. His piano skill is improving at a rapid pace. He has been more mature and patience credited partly to the discipline of piano practice daily. Most importantly, Noami is a very talented teacher, who connects with students at a totally different level. She makes him feel very comfortable and motivated when he studies with her. Over the years, he misbehaved twice in her studio but she handled it like a walk on the beach, and for that we are very grateful! I have 2 more kids and can’t wait to enroll in her class. I wish I can air-pump them to grow faster ud83dude02

We have been receiving lessons from Naomi for a little over a year now and have been very happy. We have been very pleased with how well Naomi has worked with our young children (ages 5 and 7 when we first began lessons). She does well with encouraging young students, but also having high expectations. She also provides lots of supplemental activities such as the Ribbon Festival, various competitions, recitals, and group lessons. I would highly recommend her.

At Naomi's Piano Studio we have found a teacher who is both exacting and nurturing. Have been impressed with the mix of older students and children at her student recitals. Also, liked how enthusiastic Mrs. Johnson has been to introduce students to a wide variety of musical styles while building a strong foundation in the classics. Don't hesitate to call for yourself, or your child.

My son has been taking lessons with Mrs.Johnson for years and we have had the best experience! She is amazingly patient with him and is always encouraging! I’m so thankful we were able to find such a great teacher!!! The festivals and different events she signs us up for throughout the year are great also!
