The Showroom is really well done to see the inventory in order to visualize at my home. My sales person was not only very helpful but gave sensible input. I found a great coffee table with a side and the price was right. Delivery time is reasonable. I am good for Raymour! PS Not my first purchase I am a repeat customer.
The purchase itself was fine; I was very happy with the person who processed my order, who was positive and pleasant.nnThe process of waiting for and delivery of my order was disappointing. No automation or updates for the order, which took about 13 weeks. I was given advance warning on the timeline itself, so that part is fine, although Raymour should offer customers better insight into where their orders stand.nnHere's where it gets hairy:nnI was given a delivery window of 11 to 2 on Saturday. 2 comes, no furniture, no updates. How do they not have an automated update system? I call: furniture is several stops away. Which is great except...****7 pm**** is when I finally get a call from the guys to tell me they're on the way. Headache over, right? Wrong.nnThey get to the end of my block, and tell me their truck doesn't fit, which is crazy because I've seen 18 wheelers drive down my street. After some time they carry--no hand truck--my furniture to the door. Miraculously they don't drop it. They inform me at the doorway after taking no measurements that it won't fit. I inform them (because I had done the work) that it would, and that I did have furniture that was the same size inside. Only then do they start to bring the pieces in, dragging at least one against the floor. I would have signed anything just to get them out of my house. I'm still not sure if the back of the couch is damaged.nnI call Raymour the next day to ask how this happened, and why in the 21st century there would be no automated process with updates so I would not be glued to my living room for 5 hours from the outside of the window with no clear updates. I was given no answer, but I was given my delivery fee back, which is why I gave 2 stars. I was promised a call from the store manager that never materialized.nnIn a world with so many options for furniture and folks that are skilled in logistics, I recommend you make the choice that reduces the headache for you. We all have too many headaches nowadays.
We had a wonderful sales person who made our experience very comfortable. He offered to start a wish list for us and help keep our selections straight. We were buying 6 living room pieces- chairs recliners sofas and love seats. It was overwhelming. We were all set to leave and head home to measure and select our set out of the 4 or 5 on our list. When it came time to print the list we were asked to pay $20 to trick the system into thinking it was a purchase. WHAT? I should pay because your system is less than stellar? The sales person went to the manager who he “sweet talked” into letting us have the one sheet of paper list with our selections on it. Then gave us a 24 hour window to make our choice. Again- WHAT? We didn’t appreciate the pressure. As nice as the salesperson was this was off putting and we won’t be going back. Shame. He was helpful and knowledgeable. Lost a large commission thanks to his manager.
My store. I go there first. Purchase a bedroom set, 65 in. TV stand. Waiting on coffee table. Good wood! I have leather sofa chair. About3 yrs. Use condition for leather. It still looks new.
I knew what I wanted when I walked into the store. We looked around anyway - we were tempted by some of the other beautiful furniture in the store, but we just don't have the room for it. In the end, our salesman helped us to quickly order and pay for our order. I appreciated the friendly and helpful service.
