Walmart Pharmacy

Just started getting our prescriptions filled there..I found it to be pleasant...no problems for me...I was reading the other comments and WoW...I had a good experience...Thanks Ladies!!

The clerk was too busy regaling the pharmacist with tales of her not walking her dog in Williamstown anymore because of a bear to take care of me. She went on about that for a few minutes and when I thought she was finally coming up to the counter to help me, she walked right past me with some products in her hand that she thought was more important to put on the shelves than to take care of the customer standing right in front of her. She came back and continued on about the bear, but now there were 2 more people on line behind me. She still went behind the pharmacist's counter--- still yapping away--- did something else, then finally came over and asked if she could help who's next. I asked her if 2 more people getting in line behind me was what it took for her to help me. She replied they're busy. Really? Busy? Busy yapping? No apology. And the pharmacist didn't even tell her to go help customers instead of restocking stuff on the shelves. Looks like Walmart pharmacy was a big mistake. They really don't give a damn about the customer.

I was cranky over CVS and my insurance refusing to work together anymore, so was not receptive about switching to Walmart pharmacy. Not a thing to worry over. It's been quite a few months now and beyond the usual false starts, getting medications switched over, VERY pleased. Staff is always willing to answer questions in person and over the phone, refills are taken care of swiftly and those lines you groan about, when seeing? They do not last very long. Be patient- your turn comes up much more quickly than other pharmacies. OH and a pharmacist speaks to you, personally, with each check out, of some medicines. It's nice.nnOne caution. if you have a ' rare ' medication, maybe call ahead and make sure they order it. This seems to be new patient fault only. Once the particular pharmacy is aware, they are willing to keep it in stock.nnThis review dos not include the easy-check out/smart phone option. Having some problems getting mine set up but do not think it is fair to give the pharmacy a negative review based on technology beyond their control.

Very poor customer service the older woman pharmacist and the older woman with the short white hair that rings you up are completely unhelpful, uncaring and out right suck at their jobs. I'm pretty sure the Pharmacist used to work at a CVS in Harrisburg we switched from some time ago who was equally as useless.nThey have me sit there for an hr waiting for a prescription they tell me can't be filled until the next day instead of telling me from the start. Only to get there the next day and have the woman only hand only 2 of the 3 prescriptions missing the main one and never saying anything about hoping I just don't realize and leave. Before I left the store I realized it wasnt in there and went back only for them to tell me it wasn't ready yet and then 5 minutes later tell me they don't have any so they can't fill it and can't give me the script back and can't send to another pharmacy so I have to go back to the doc and get a new script not only on a saturday but an hr away to a doc that can't gove you the script without an appt u can't get for weeks at a time and can't be called in because it is a narcotic. How about do you damn job look up the info at the start before having a person wait say it cant be filled yet and when it can be filles before youu take the script do like you are supposed and make sure you have the stock first instead of screwing the patient taking their time money distance and fees to the doc to have to get something they alreqdy had because you lazy and u friendly and yoo busy playing on the computer to do anything for the actual customer you get paid to serve.nnInfuriated at the pure incompetence and laziness and just plain rude arrogant behavior. Not even a apology just dirty looks and an attitude.

Always long lines and sometimes they don’t have your medication in stock when your refills are due.
