I highly recommend TRS-Designs, Inc. In a recent renovation, we were about to use a lower-end online cabinet retailer when Thomas reached out. I was pleasantly surprised that we could keep our budget and get higher quality semi-custom cabinets with the added bonus of his excellent customer service. Thomas is very knowledgeable and presented many options to me that I hadn’t considered. He was readily available for any questions or concerns. We look forward to using TRS-Designs, Inc. on future projects.

We used Tom for our kitchen remodel in early 2020 and were very pleased. He is a talented designer, and has a ton of patience with indecisive clients like us. We must of changed our design a dozen times! He was helpful during the process, meaning he would provide his opinion when my wife and I were having a tough time deciding. Pricing was similar to the big box stores, however the personalized service that you receive can't compare. Tom was always available, and also checked in on my contractors several times. You can tell that he loves what he does...it really shows, and is nice to work with someone who is so enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend using Tom for my next project.

We hired Tom to design and execute our kitchen remodel in the Fall of 2019. The important things to know about working with Tom include the following:n1.tHe is responsive and reliable - two things often hard to find in any service provider. Those things alone are worth paying for.n2.tHis depth of experience means he helps guide you in the right direction based on your desire for your project, but also helps you to avoid pitfalls. He has a vision if you’re totally lost, but he can also work with your vision to deliver what you want.n3.tHe’ll help you work within your budget. For example, rather than replacing our cabinets he thought we’d be better off simply painting the existing ones. This saved us a bunch of money, and they look great.n4.tHe partners with outstanding contractors. We loved all the contractors that were on our job, particularly our GC, Ian. All the work was top notch from the painting to the plumbing.n5.tHe has high standards. If something was not right, Tom was the one to step in with the contractors and make sure it was. We never had to be “the bad guy”.nnWe can’t recommend Tom enough. We’ll be using him again for a basement finishing.

We found TRS Designs through friends who used Tom for two home projects. My husband and I greatly admired the work done at their house and were eager to have Tom help us with our difficult project. Tom came into our stalled bathroom project almost 2 years after we started it. We live in an old house and were attempting to renovate a full bathroom in an awkward, small space with a lot of issues. After a series of many problems and a lot of money, we had finally reached a point where we just didn’t know how to proceed. Tom came into our difficult “do-it-yourself” project and finally gave it direction. He helped pull together the work of multiple professionals and designed a bathroom that transformed the space. Tom took it in directions that we had never thought of and found items like a shower door, tile and a vanity that we would never have been able to find ourselves. We are so happy that he came into the project when he did and love the final results. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking to improve their home!
