There are very few stores that you go to with great anticipation. I usually only get excited to go to bookstores or record stores. Holly Peters Oriental Rugs & Home is an exception. The store is a visual delight. The layout, the building and of course the artistry of the rugs and furnishings. You feel like you are in a gallery or museum. Except you can own the artwork. The store is worth a special trip. Meeting Holly Peters will add to your experience. She will make you smarter on the merchandise as almost every rug has a story and history. Treat yourself. Visit.

Wonderful job cleaning an old oriental rug. We have an 'old' (18 years old) rug that we purchased when we first moved to our home in Kennett Square for our foyer entrance. While it wasn't used as a doormat, it did see its fair share of foot traffic coming in from the front entrance.nWe decided to take it to Holly Peter's for a cleaning and they did a fantastic job. They brought the vibrant colors back to original, so much so that we thought the colors were simply muted - we forgot how vibrant they were. Highly recommend the team here for rug cleaning (We've got a much larger rug that we'll take later this Fall).
