2020 / 11/ 05nnSo I saw on Indeed that this company is looking for drivers. I like to research a company a bit before I decide to take the next step. and I've read enough reviews on here and someone's replies to customers. 147 Reviews and if you average it out it's a bit less than satisfactory over all.nnIt's really to bad I thought Jacks would have been a cool place to work. Must be a management problem.

BE CAREFUL-They will try to scam you if they think you are naive about the towing business. I was charged 3x the going rate and exposed to extreme scare tactics if they didn't let me tow my vehicle. They also (illegally) confiscated the keys for my vehicle. I WAS NOT THE ONE WHO CALLED THEM IN. THEY DID NOT TOW MY VEHICLE. And they still charged me ungodly fees. SCAMMERS WORK HERE. Maybe there are a few good apples here who aren't rotten but why risk it? Just use Aggressive Auto Towing instead if you are in the Abbotsford area. Much more professional and less likely to run your wallet dry.nnEdit: Sad to report that the same people now own Jack's Towing + Aggressive Auto Towing. Try not to need towing in the Abbotsford area period imo...

It would be good if you had a conversation with your drivers about not tailgating aggressively in traffic! You wouldn’t want them to be the reason that someone ends up needing a tow truck.nThe two star rating is simply because I probably would not intentionally use your service after this.

Last night I locked myself out of my vehicle! A driver that wasn’t even on shift came to my rescue!! He was quick to arrive and I’m so thankful he came to help me out when the other drivers were to busy. Thank you I wish I got your name but you saved my evening!

Whenever we needed towing we’ve used Jacks for years, since when my dad owned a shop here in Abbotsford. Unfortunately their service seems to have gone downhill, the people were good but the service was not, leaving us hanging for over two hours even after being told twice that they’d be there in 10 minutes. A truck had even shown up, but left to service an accident, which would have been fine as he said another truck was only 10 minutes away. That was an additional hour wait. Definitely not impressed and will be trying another tow service next time one is needed.
