What an amazing place. A real hidden gem in Abbotsford!nnDean was incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thanks to his assistance, I now have a guitar that I can barely put down.nnThe only negative thing I can think of is that I didn't come here sooner! I've always gone to sound of music for everything.nSince I was 14 ive been shopping there. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've dealt with. I have never felt unwelcome even when I just wanted to play some of their guitars for a while. I would buy everything from my ukulele to capos to my wife's piano lessons.nnWe recently purchased a Yamaha keyboard and it was a great experience as always. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and the prices are great too. 5 stars all the way!!!

Dean and Eloise have offered great service and advise everytime I have gone to the store. I had Dean set up a guitar and bass for me and they came back on time and beautifully set up. I highly recommend the Sound of Music!
What a gem of a store/music lessonS shop. Very outgoing and friendly, knowledgeable couple greeted us and gave us the tour of the shop that started up the same year as the sound of music. Unique guitars available to buy and music equipment. Lessons here I’m sure would be amazing for any student with rooms equipped with everything you need to learn a guitar or violin or piano with staff skilled to match what you want to learn and more. Family business, don’t go anywhere else if you’re looking for a safe, friendly environment for your child or even yourself to learn an instrument.
