I order all our Birthday cakes, holiday pies, and breads from Barb every year. She and her team of amazing bakers never disappoint! If you've never had a delectable pie or cake of hers you MUST give her a try. Much better than the big stores around here!
Small independent bakery. I am here for. Dahlia farm and so treated my guest and I to doughnuts and coffee. Freshly made, very large apple fritters. Perfect amount of. Apples to. Pastry, not too. Sweet. A true treat. I haven't tasted other pastries yet, but they look. Divine.
Walked in on a whim and bought the most amazing doughnuts I have ever had.nThe cream filled doughnuts were very smooth and light, not overly sweet.nTheir fritters were also great. Not all sticky and soggy like fritters I've gotten elsewhere. However still filled with TONS of flavor.nnI will definitely come here again!
Ever since Rocket Donuts closed down I did not think there were any other local donut shops in town. Lafeens is too far out of the way for me to go to regularly. I heard about Barbs Pies and Pastries from Facebook and was surprised to hear that they were so popular for their donuts! I always thought this place was strictly pies, but there are a great variety of sweets (cookies, personal pies, cake, scones, cinnamon buns etc.) Everything is priced very fair, I felt like I bought so much but only spent $9.00. Everything was delicious and I cannot wait to go back and get more goodies!
This quaint family run bakery is to die for it brings back childhood memories the way pastries should taste I'm 54 years old and it tastes like 40 years ago
