Fort Bedford Metal Detectors

I have been working with Keith of Fort Bedford Metal Detectors, for the past year since I started metal detecting and he has always went out of his way to help me out, answer any questions I have and give me guidance in this new hobby. Keith always goes over and above and is extremely informative and helpful. I just wanted to take the time to pay a well deserved compliment to Keith.

Went to buy my first metal detector. Buddy suggested this place. I went out with a detector in mind. After lots of questions, they actually suggested a cheaper model for me to learn on. That impressed me. So instead I had extra money so I asked what else they suggested. Walked out with everything I needed at the price of the detector I thought I was going to buy. They talked to me explaining everything in easy to understand lingo. Never felt like I was being talked down to being a newbie. Highly recommend them.

I've been detecting for years. Started with the old Bounty Hunter when I was a kid and went through Whites, Fisher and Minelab. Bought all of those through the mail. This fall I was in the market for a new detector and did my usual in looking at Kellyco, Big Boy Hobbies, etc., but after my last experience with them I decided to do a Google search to see if there was a metal detector shop closer to me. I could care less about the junk that Kellyco throws in with their detectors. I wanted to actually look at the machines and get an idea of how well they would fit me. I found Fort Bedford Metal Detectors which is only about 75 miles or so from where I live so I gave them a call. Keith was very friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had. I told him I was already in the car headed his way. He said to come on over and that he had a show room with many different models. When I got there one of Keith's associates, John, assisted me in identifying which detector best fits my needs. John was also very nice and knowledgeable about every detector that was on display. There were several! I decided on the Minelab CTX3030 even though I was in the market for a Equinox 800. John explained the differences between them then I asked how much. John gave me a price, but then he made a few calls. He was able to get the price down even further and told me that Minelab had a deal going that included the 17 inch coil. After his extra effort to get my business and with the additional coil John sold me on the CTX3030. Thanks John! This is a good business and these are good people. They are knowledgeable and no pressure sales. I was a repeat customer for accessories less than a week later. Thanks Fort Bedford Metal Detectors!

Zero stars guy had no time for beginners told me had other things going on but website says open mon through Friday till 5 pm not recommended!!
