do yourself a favor and ask very nicely for a fresh egg if you order an eggenue. otherwise, you get served a warmed up, precooked fried egg. i do not understand why they do this. the best part of an egg sandwich is the runny yolk mixing with the other parts of the sandwich. homeboy running the line has seemed to have been training a new person every single time i'm in there so there's also that.npay your employees better, maybe see what happens?npeeps working the counter are always friendly.nno go on that rosemary loaf. not what it used to be.

This place and the employees are amazing. The food is even better. Fairly priced with many options including breakfast. Easy one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The bread is too good. Can't name a better sandwich shop or bakery in whatcom.

Avenue Bread is an excellent place to go to get morning or afternoon sandwiches and coffee. You can feel confident that as a local business, they support other local businesses, and their food is so fresh and delicious!
