I ordered for in store pickup, thinking it would come in and I would rent a truck for a one and done. My order got delayed twice to start with. When I finally got the call that my couch was in, it was only half of it. In the end, I had to make three trips and have one piece delivered. This was a very different experience than I've had buying furniture anywhere else.nnI ordered a bed frame and sectional in July. It is now the end of November and I finally have all of the pieces that I ordered.nnI do like my couch. It is comfortable and has plenty of room for two people and four dogs. I don't know about the bed frame yet.nnWould I buy from them again? Only if it was something I loved and couldn't find similar somewhere else.nnThe manager at the Monroeville location was very nice. Their warehouse staff could do with some customer service training.
I ordered a couch that was delivered on the 1st. Unfortunately, I just noticed a pretty good size dent in my fridge this morning. I contacted Bob's and they say I had to let them know 3 days after. I understand that to a point. They said after 3 days its hard to prove it was them. So you can prove it is them if it was within the 3 days. I'm very disappointed with this solution.
Placed an order, requested for in store pick up. Called THEM after the delivery date and was informed the order was pushed out 2 more months. With COVID affecting business I thought this was understandable and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now (9/16) 2 days from pick up date, I call the store again. I am notified that the order was in their store on August 8th, but there were no notes that I was ever called to arrange pick up. Since I did not get it when it was at the store, (remember no call or notification) the order was sent to the Warehouse... in Maryland.... and would need to be sent back to the store for me to pick up.... in November. All contact was initiated by me, the customer, and no updates were ever relayed from the store. I am never the type to write a review, and this is out of character, but I have never received worse customer service anywhere. I will never shop with Bob's again, once was a nightmare and that was enough for me.
We were pleasantly greeted by a very knowledgeable Teri. She left us to look on our own but stepped in with some very helpful suggestions. She answered all our questions and gave us a very concise written estimate of our bill. Great service. Great assortment.
Terri Dickerson was great! She helped us so much and made everything so easy. She explained things clearly. Can't wait for the furniture to come! Great value at Bob's- we won't go anywhere else!!
