I have hired Straight Light Studios for a number of events now, and Fletcher has been exceptional every time. He is always willing to go the extra mile, is punctual, communicates, does what he says he will and obviously LOVES his work. And what he creates is beautiful - he filmed a dog event for a friend of mine and the video he produced was excellent! His images and sound were great and he really captured the soul of the event!
Fletcher has the ear of a technician and the soul of an artist. These two extraordinary talents he brings to the table as he passionately involves himself wholeheartedly in your project. I know this from experience as I have seen him emotionally engage with each song in the studio. This deep rooted connection to the music allows him to work with you, the artist, in a most profound way, to create the best sound your music can share with the world. Fletcher is a technical, design, and production wizard. I'm in awe of his portfolio, talents, and skills! He has a huge generous heart, a wise and mindful presence, a subtle and playful sense of humor, and a deep fire in his soul to inspire the best in you and in any media project you'd like to breathe life into!
I worked with Fletcher Ward at Straight Light Studio recording my first EP during two full-day sessions, and had a great experience. The studio is top-notch, comfortable, and inviting, and Fletcher is a highly talented, professional, and personable audio engineer and technician. I would heartily recommend Straight Light Studio to any musician or musical group seeking a recording studio in the South Sound area.
They create a professional, yet inspiring place to record your project. I have done two sessions with Fletcher, and both times were excellent experiences. Highly recommended.
