Here's a few things to know about the experience: expect a good sales experience in the store...friendly, helpful, design focused, and just great. Expect to get a soft sell on the factory to warehouse to your house. It will take longer than you're told. Much longer - decide whether it's worth the wait.
Early on in the Covid stuff, say early March, we worked with one of the designers at this store, ultimately ordered two of their custom made fabric covered beds. We were told that the delivery time would be 10 weeks or more, but they were actually made and delivered earlier than that. So, what's the problem? Delivery and setup were fine, the guys insisted on taking pictures as they said this is standard practice, would forward to the designer for her follow up. Here we sit two plus months from the delivery date, not one bit of follow up from Bassett. Seems like a $5K order during Covid might merit a follow up thank you? As is the case with many businesses today, customer service is a thing of the past.
Lynne Lorenz is by far the most helpful salesperson at Basset. She really knows how to pull a design together and stayed within my budget! She listens and delivered. I would recommend personally asking for Lynne Lorenz when visiting Basset off McKnight road!
My sales Lady Mary- Ann was wonderful and very nice, I bought a power recliner loveseat, thy told me delivery is on February the 13th, my old sofa will be picked up this Sunday.nToday someone from Ashley Furniture called me and told me that the delivery cannot be made next weeknI have to wait until midd March, I guess that they have to fix one first, I mean how can it be. This is so upsetting, now I go in there Saturday and see what they have to offer that can be delivered next week or let them give me the one they have in store for less. Oh I am so angry.
Just love my purchases from Bassett at McKnight Rd., Pittsburgh, Pa. My designer, Nancy Mancuso, did a great job suggesting the perfect pieces for my master bedroom. The quality far surpasses any photo. The white glove delivery was flawless. The pieces are very large and the deliverers were very careful. Really happy and decided to purchase the matching four poster bed.nThank you Sincerely,nJeanette Lynn
