Linda Andersen Studios

Linda is a wonderful teacher and always makes the lessons super fun. I haven't played an instrument or read music since high school (15 years). I was interested in learning the violin as a hobby and found Linda while researching tutors in my area. I have been taking lessons with Linda for roughly 3 years and cannot believe how far along I have come. I am very happy I found Linda's Studios and started learning music again. While also having fun while doing it!

What an absolute joy learning an instrument with Linda is!nI was nervous about taking up the violin as an adult and an absolute beginner. From the moment I walked in for my first lesson, she was so warm and inviting and instantly set my worries at ease. Ever since that first lesson, going to each subsequent lesson has been the highlight of my weekend. Not only is Linda incredibly kind-hearted, patient, and positive, but she is an excellent instructor and makes sure that students have a strong foundation with great technique so that they may play to the best of their abilities. I have taken music lessons in the past, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that she is the most thorough I have seen yet. Her passion for music is clear, and she works with students to make sure they develop a love for the instrument while also developing the skills needed to play it well. For adults looking to begin lessons with her or parents looking for lessons for their children, I assure you you won't find a better instructor than Linda!

I love working with Linda! She is helpful, kind, funny, and very talented. I have been working with Linda for about a year now and still learn something new at every lesson! She is friendly towards all her students and shares the best stories! Each lesson with Linda is enjoyable. My violin playing has improved greatly with her, as well as my understanding of music. I have no regrets for taking lessons with Linda and will continue to enjoy it!

Linda Andersen is an amazing teacher! I have taken private lessons with her for two years, and I have learned and improved more in these two years than I have in the ten years that I have been a violinist. She has helped me to improve significantly by fixing several serious technical issues I didn't realize I was making. I can now play louder, with better intonation, and with more precision. With her help, I have been able to play in my school's audition orchestra with success. If you have a busy schedule Linda will work with you and find a mutually convenient time for lessons.
