This is one of my favorite pastry shops. The staff is friendly and they have such a vast array of tasty treats. They do custom orders and made a wonderful cake for my wife's birthday. The customer service is wonderful. Also a nice little thing to note is that they are the official pastry shop of the Penguins.
I ordered a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and it was fabulous!! Beautiful to look and and so delicious. That was the first time I was ever inside the bakery and there was so many wonderful things to choose from. Iced oatmeal cookies were delicious also. Definitely going back to try some of their cheesecake. Workers were very nice and helpful.
My wife and I used to come here all the time and buy birthday cakes. The last few times they didn’t have our order ready and messed it up. So we now go to giant eagle and they actually have the same exact cake for less money, and they do a great job as well at giant eagle.
Bought a cookie tray and cupcakes to take to my friend's house! The best cookies I have ever had. The cookie tray was not a special order but was already prepared so of course I was worried. Very nice variety and so fresh and tender they melt in your mouth. The cupcakes were also super! Buttercream icing not too sweet and the batter was super tasty and not dense. I highly recommend Pastries A-La-Carte!
Have not had a bad sweet there yet. Staff not so friendly no general convo just pick the sugar and keep it moving. Many things to choose from. The revolving cheesecake display is hypnotic.
