I worked in Pittsburgh this last year with the company I am working with and they rented furniture for the apartment that I stayed in from Bridges and boroughs. Everything went along fine for the four months that I was there. When I turned the furniture in My company charged me $259 for a mattress that they said had a big blue stain on it. I am a 57-year-old married man and I lived in the apartment by myself as my wife was not able to accompany me on this business trip. I contacted the people at my company and they said that we had been charged by Bridges and Buroughs for a damaged mattress. I contacted Bonnie at Bridges and boroughs and explained the situation to her and told her that I thought I was being unfairly charged and she hung up on me. Needless to say I don’t feel that I was treated fairly and I would not do business with these people again. If you do happen to rent from them I would definitely take pictures and video Of your furniture as it is being removed from your apartment. In other words, PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THESE PREDATORS! That way It won’t be their word against your word.
