I just found out, contrary to their. websites that Allegro Hearth Bakery is closed due to the Covid 19 ... April 3, 2020. Best bakery ever, especially their layer cakes...Vanilla Vanilla and FRESH RASPBERRY.
The best bakery for custardy cream puffs!! Anytime we go we buy them all!!! Cakes, cookies, pastries and dont ever leave without trying some of the many fresh baked breads. This is one of my top bakeries to choose from because of the excellent staff and delicious treats.
Everyone working is always really friendly whenever I stop by when I am in Pittsburgh! I’m not sure Enrico Sabatini took a close look inside the store because I myself saw locally made jams and pastas... love their bread!!
The product is fine but the staff is rude. My most recent experience was not my first encounter discourteous staff there, but it will be my last.
Officially closed as I went there today for chocolate only to find an empty shop.
