Service can be slow depending how many people are scheduled. The pudding cakes are moist and always a great price. Every Friday is five dollar friday. 12 donuts for 5 dollars.
I've found that the Giant Eagle bakeries are pretty much comparable to most of the stand alone bakeries out there. That would be primarily true for the standard bakery products, cakes, donuts, etc.nI realize many standalone bakeries have their own specialty items, so can't really rate them based on those. Overall though, if I'm not looking for a specialty item, I'll get my baked good here.
Everything in the case looked gorgeous. Every thing looked so good, I wanted it all. Got a praline cone filled with cheesecake and a Boston Cream cupcake. The cheesecake cone was a little difficult to eat, but it was absolutely amazing, and the Boston Cream cupcake was probably the best cupcake I've ever had in my life. Missing a star because it is a little on the pricey side.
Limited but good cakes and breads.
What a wonderful place to be.... don't go their hungry, oh my.. you'll be like a kid in a candy store! I want , I want, I want.... everything looks fabulous!
