Academy For Media Production

Continuing my passion for photography at AMP was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. Not only was the program challenging, but the staff is always ready to go out of their way to help you understand the material. Everyone there is cheering for your success and it's really reassuring. Not only has the school given me an education, but my relationships with the staff will last a lifetime. I can't thank them enough for the success and knowledge that they gave me. I've continued to rival my knowledge with even those who went to a four-year program. You're getting real world experience, and are offered opportunities that not every other school offers.

Attending the Academy for Media Production helped me jumpstart my career in photography and videography. They prepared us with all of the knowledge and skills in a traditional classroom setting, along with a ton of hands-on demonstrations. They put a large focus on real world learning opportunities and made sure each student knew how to effectively run a business. The instructors always took time out of their busy schedules to help in any way possible. Before I had even graduated from the program, I already had accepted a job in the field. I have come back many times since I left and have always found the help I needed.

My time at Academy for Media Production started by attending their summer workshop. I learned a lot during the week and it also included a real world experience. After the workshop I knew I wanted to attend AMP. The program allows you to learn all aspects of photography including video. They have a state of the art facility along with great instructors and just about every piece of equipment you need. During my time at AMP I had a lot of real work experiences from photographing Civil War artifacts to working with makeup artists, fashion models and an accomplished fashion photographer.nnBy graduation not only did I have an education, I was prepared to hit the ground running. I had my website set up, banking was ready to go, all my contracts were ready to go, I even had three weddings booked before I graduated thanks to the wedding portfolio I was able to build during Wedding Week.nnOne of the best benefits of AMP, besides your education, is after you graduate, you do not become just another number, the door is always open. The staff is always there to assist you with questions you may have about photography. I graduated from the program over a year ago and I am still able to go back to discuss how to negotiate jobs and contracts! I would highly recommend the Academy for Media Production.
