Bought some cheap used CRT monitors here several years ago for work. Went in more recently and felt like I was a bother to who I'm assuming was the owner. There is plenty of random stuff here if you are looking for an obscure part or are in a rush and can't wait two days for Amazon. They also offer an electronics recycling service.

I called to see how long it would take to have my laptop repaired because i had a week before classes started. She said they were 4 days behind and couldn't promise me it would be done in time but that she would talk to someone to see if they could get me in as an emergency and call me back in an hour to let me know. Two days later and she still has never called me back. Horrible customer service. I found a repair place that does free pick ups and deliveries and my laptop was fixed and brought back to me in 2 days. Call Julian at JSF Computer Repair for your computer/laptop needs!!

If you enjoy being taken advantage of and over-paying for new and used computer parts than this is the place for you. They have many obscure computer parts that they will gladly charge you twice as much as the average selling price on Amazon. For example, I went in looking for a 2gb stick of 10600u ram, which I can get on eBay for $11 brand new or on average about $6 used with free shipping. He (Mike, the owner) was charging $15 for a used unbranded stick. I could've gotten 2 of them for that price online. I'm not sure why I ever bother to keep going back looking for parts, I'm just setting myself up for disappointment and irritation. If you want to support a local business that has no objections to taking advantage of the community than by all means, don't let my review deter you. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I know someone who interned there and he told me many stories about how dishonest and greedy the owner is. Maybe if he were out of the equation it would be a better place.
