Karen has made many slipcovers for me over the years (3 sofa covers, 3 chair covers, a daybed, bench, headboard, numerous dog beds - and that’s only the things I can remember!). I love that she is willing to work with painter’s dropcloth. I appreciate the fact that she is organized and her time estimates are pretty spot on as far as when she can fit you in to her schedule (it is 100% worth the wait if she is busy!) and when the pieces will be done. I’m a details person but Karen is one of the few people that I work with who I’m comfortable just saying “make it look good” and leaving it at that because she has great taste and a really good eye. On the other hand, if you do have specific ideas of what you want, she’s happy to take the time to look through photos of things you like and have a discussion about it. Lastly, she’s always game to try something new and has taken on some more challenging projects for me with great results. I have recommended Karen to friends and family who have also been super happy with her work. Always looking for new things for her to cover!
