I had to have photos taken for a magazine that wants to do an article on me and my artist portfolio. We are in the middle of a pandemic and I couldn’t find a photographer in LA to help. (Possibly because I don’t know many.) I talked to Barbara and she was happy to help. Her consultation was refreshing and she answered all of my questions. She made the process smooth and stress-free.nnNow I’m not a person who likes to take pictures. If you ask me, I am not photogenic and I would rather watch paint dry than to take a picture. I had no idea what to wear, how to apply make-up nor what I was going to do to my hair. There’s a lot that goes into this. Barbara from the start told me, “don’t worry, I’ve got you.” She helped me with my looks, hair, make-up and my nerves. My anxiety was through the roof! Barbara made the shoot fun and relaxing.nnAlthough I will still have to be told to bring my head forward and elongate my neck, she made me feel beautiful. I felt like a celebrity taking pictures for a cover. Barbara is professional, sweet, funny and a pro at what she does. You can trust her to make sure your photos will represent you and your family in the best way possible. I love that Barbara is patient and her energy is calming. Barbara's class on fine art retouching was exactly what I had been searching for for years!
