I love this store. I’ve bought a guitar, and two ukuleles from him. I’m about to buy another ukulele sometime soon. I will always go here. The owner is so nice and it seems we have pretty good conversation when I go in. The main reason is I wanted a hard case for a ukulele I had bought and the other music stores wouldn’t order the case for me, the cases are normally more expensive than the ukulele so they wouldn’t bother. Ken on the other hand made sure I knew this and made sure before ordering I wanted to go through with it. I feel like that was really respectful of him and that’s one of the main reasons I will go to Montrose Music when I need any instruments.

Disinterested worker. I tried to buy local. I did my homework on an instrument for a gift. He said it didn't exist and pretty much left it at that. I bought online instead.

Most knowledgeable music store in Montrose , the guy is awesome and you can tell that he has a real passion for what he’s selling, even the other day I came in for an XLR cord and as we chatted for a bit about musical stuff I could see some music project open on his computer which shows even when at work he’s dedicated to what he loves, really enjoy shopping here. And they carry awesome quality equipment, I saw the comment from the guy complaining. Anyone in their right mind should know a music store is no play store for kids. The man who owned the store was extremely nice and was very helpful with me. He was able to answer all my questions about his products, and didnt have a problem with helping me with any ither musical aspect for my instruments.
