If you are looking for an exceptional guitar instructor, Jim at The Guitar Academy is your guy!! Jim taught 3 of my adult children to play guitar; and after being witness to their successes, I was recently inspired to take lessons myself. I have never played any kind of instrument, so I’m excited and encouraged by the progress I’ve made with Jim in such a very short time. I definitely recommend Jim no matter your skill level!!!

Jim is an excellent guitar teacher. My 16 year old daughter goes to lessons and he has taught her so well. He is compassionate and wants his students to succeed. He really takes the time to teach and has a great sense of humor. He makes my daughter feel comfortable so she can concentrate on learning. Thank you Jim your the bestud83dude00

I've been taking lessons from Jim for several years now. He teaches what I need to learn and practice to become the skilled guitar player I want to be. Although I am heavy into the metal genre, Jim shows me the importance of learning other styles in order to become a more well-rounded musician. He is very encouraging and understands the lifestyle of a busy adult which helps with his practice plans. I'll continue to take lessons for many years to come! I highly recommend The Guitar Academy!

My brother and I have been taking guitar lessons for almost 5 years. After those 5 years we are good enough players to play on stage and in a band. Jim Greer lets you learn at your own pace and always makes sure you understand what you are learning. No matter what level you are you will benefit from learning from Jim. He is in his own successful band and knows the music business inside out. You will be very pleased with the results, so if you want to learn guitar, Learn from the best.

My 10 year old daughter has had a couple guitar teachers and she absolutely loves Jim from the guitar academy. She has advanced much more quickly since going to the guitar academy. Jim is very encouraging and my daughter and him spend a lot of time laughing and having fun during the lessons. I sit in the same room as them as they practice and Jim takes the time to explain to me what to focus on week to week while listening to her practice at home..
