Our family thoroughly enjoyed working with Ms. Alena. My kid made amazing progress under her instruction, passing Trinity’s piano performance assessments twice in a row with distinction in less than a year. She is very professional and organized - you can tell that from how she structures the class and how neatly she writes her class notes. She is gentle and patient and simultaneously firm and has high expectations. She always assigns the most beautiful and challenging pieces that fit just right. She is a terrific performer herself. I loved hearing her introductory demonstrations of all the new pieces. We would have enthusiastically continued with Ms Alena had she not relocated.
Alena has an innate gift for music and is an amazing instructor for adults and children. She is patient, and students are encouraged to reach their potential. I am an adult student and have witnessed her incredible ability to teach students of all ages.
My daughter was a student of Alena. She is a great teacher, very professional and patient to students. When my daughter prepares the Trinity college music grade exams, Alena provided some additional classes to help my daughter. Great teacher and great experience to work with her!
Alena is a gifted musician and a great music teacher. She is good at assessing a student’s abilities and interests and makes her lessons fun and interesting. I highly recommend Classical Tones to anyone interested in learning to play the piano.
Excellent instructor!! She works so well with children - my 11 y/o daughter and 9 y/o son adore her!!
