I didn't find what I was looking for
Too much
Lady at the front wouldn't let me walk through the store at 6:45AM while wheeling my bike next to me. Hasn't been a problem for 3 years, not sure why it is today. Maybe they should be more concerned about the workers walking around with no masks rather than this. This place survives because it's a food desert for the apartments near it. Final straw for me. Won't be heading back.
We enjoy shopping at Walmart Grocery. The produce is both fresh and well priced. Would have given our visit 6 stars, but it took 30 minutes to checkout. I'll explain. There were only two couples, carts in front of us, but there may have been a language barrier. This is a problem for us, when we travel abroad. Especially when purchasing produce as spelling in a foreign language is always difficult. Having said this, the employees in grocery stores overseas are always very helpful, willing to assist. That is the issue we encountered at Walmart this time. There were 3 employees monitoring the self checkout isles, but not one offered to assist, although they were aware of the long delay in checkout. Every isles was 10 shoppers deep, but yet they continued chatting with each other. It was very disappointing to see this. It seems management needs to do more training in customer service. I was not the only customer to recognize this. Several other shoppers took notice.
I go back & forth on my opinion of this location. There are a few workers here who go above & behind to help. But there are too many others who have no idea where items are located. Also regularly see too many workers just standing around gossiping. Many of there checkout counters have problems printing receipts. So if you use savings catcher, you may be annoyed by the fact that you have to manually receipts because scan may not recognize info. The pick-up option is good here. But the produce options are a problem. I frequently find items past their sell by date.
