I needed to do work on the seat of my Jeep Libert to replace the base that controlled the seat position. The seat also had a tear in the leather that I decided to replace while I had the whole seat out. When I started the project I decided the upholstery replacement was beyond my scope. I gave Roy a call and he fit me into his schedule and put my supplied leather upholstery on my carried in seat while I waited.
A couple of years ago he took a long time to do a poor job on upholstery for me I felt ripped off. After having upholstery done elsewhere recently I decided to right this review.
We had an appointment for Roy to build a Bimini top for our new boat. Four days before that date, we received word that the builder of our boat made an error in our build and we were forced to take delivery a week later. We immediately notified Roy four days prior to our appointment with him. Not only did we email Roy, but after not hearing from him. We followed up with a voicemail 3 days prior to our appointment with Roy.nRoy contacted us the day of the original appointment with a $250 price increase, if we wanted him to complete this build because he was pissed off for the impact to his schedule. Really?? Is this the type of person you want to employee to do work for YOU? We didn't............
