I recently purchased a new camera from Mike's Camera in Thornton, CO and totally enjoyed the experience. Jeff Lawson was my sales consultant and provided excellent customer service. Worked with Jeff yesterday, he spent considerable time helping me find just the right digital camera for my size and aspirations. Good thing i tried out a handful! Very pleasant and knowledgeable and i highly recommend working with him....bought a sony a6300 and looking forward to taking classes now.
The staff here are very helpful and friendly even when they are very busy. I discovered that they offer more that just cameras, but also prints, framing, classes, and even drones. I also discovered that they will match prices on equipment from reputable dealers online (like Amazon).
I walked in to the Thornton store this afternoon with a ton of questions about getting set up to start shooting quality videos for our office. I talked to Jeff L. He listened to what we are trying to accomplish and then showed me camera, audio and lighting options. I never felt pressured and walked out being extremely satisfied. Had a great experience buying a new camera with Evan at Mike's Camera in Thornton, CO. I narrowed my choice to one of two compact Canon cameras, called first to discuss, and talked with Evan. I went in the next day to compare the cameras, feature by feature. As a former professional photographer as well as a scientist, I have lots of questions, and I research and consider a purchase very carefully. Evan spent at least an hour with me, comparing and contrasting various features of each camera. He was genuinely friendly, knowledgable, focused, professional, a great listener, and answered every question. He never interrupted our dialogue to help other people or answer a phone. Absolutely no hard sell. He also mentioned their policy to match certified Amazon prices. Terrific service that continued after the sale, when I returned for other small things. I rarely write reviews, but this experience at Mike's with assistant mgr. Evan was exceptional.
