I ordered a custom birthday cake for my wife. She requested a pineapple and coconut cake. When I called the bakery, this was not on their extensive list of flavors, but the owner said it sounded like a great combination and immediately said that she would make it for us. I also asked her to design a fun unicorn design (my wife loves them!). Today, when I picked up the cake, I was amazed at the beautiful decorations. It was exactly what we were hoping for and my wife loved it. The cake itself was one of the best we have had. It was clear that everything was made from scratch with lots of care. The pineapple filling was very flavorful and we think she used fresh pineapple. The grated coconut was fresh and full of flavor. The icing was sweet but not overpowering, and the cake was soft. There were lots of options for baked goods in the case, and coffee is also available. We are looking forward to sampling more items in the future, especially the fresh bread. The location is super convenient as well, very walkable if you are near Henderson Center. We highly recommend this bakery.

I’ve been going to cherry blossom since they had a shop downtown. The famous champagne cake is not what it used to be.nnI brought one to my family a few years ago. They weren’t impressed at all. Everyone has a bad day but it might be helpful to listen to feedback.nI bought my sons first birthday cake there. He loved it, everyone did.nIt’s mixed review. That says something about the need for consistency.

NOPE. Old customer service guy was jamming thumb into pastry. He was using tissue paper but it was all crumpled up on one side. I asked what the point of the tissue paper was if your going to shove your thumb into it. He replayed it just can't be helped. I ended the conversation there. This was terrible customer service, perhaps if he unfurl the tissue paper he would have noticed it was wide enough to pick up the pastry. Alternative options would be tongs or gloves. French Bread was also a few days old but paid full price.
