First, there is a lot of questionable charges that are vague and elusive. Nail them down on the prices and charges before agreeing to anything. Second, do your home work and know your stuff or they will have you by the... . And third, no matter what they say if your having anything more than say a 300 watt system installed you WILL need a second battery to save your power system and alternator. Trust me I have seen it many times kill a healthy power system in a few months. A second battery will also help your system sound better. The customer service was okay, say 3 1/2 star and the installation was a 4 star. So overall not bad, I have seen much worse. After another visit I am down grading them to one star. I won't go back.

Could not be happier with the experience. The crews expertise in helping us decide on the appropriate sound system while staying within our agreed upon price range was exquisite absolutely unmatched. I look forward to returning for the highly recommended tint by their skilled tinter and many more toys for the car. Thanks for the exceptional service!

Went here wanting to upgrade my stereo system that another shop didnt do very well. I asked a ton of questions about this and that and both arsch and another guy there both helped me put together a system that meets all my wants and needs. Very happy with how it all turned out. Also did a great job doing a detail on it. They also did a great job with installing all of the components I bought. Thanks

First, let me start off by saying I had a long bad history with CarToys. BUT, I went here because of their financing options and figured I would at least be able to get something functional done.nDue to how things are these days I needed to add a Dash and Rear cam because insurance fraud is is becoming an epidemic. As well I wanted to add some base and get android auto. I had Carplay already but with how questionable Apple has been, I'm switching to Android. So all in all I wanted a new stereo, sub woofer, and cam set.nI had speakers and a stereo installed by Foss Audio before this but the dash kit was awful and put the screen way to low for me to use it effectively. Not to say Foss does bad work, they have been great I used them allot in the past over 3 Cars and sent many people to them.nBut, something I asked CarToys for was a floating screen receiver and a new dash kit that would make the screen high. I gave a price I wanted to pay and they went above and beyond to get me everything I needed for the price I gave them and boy did they deliver. I got everything I needed. They only problem was that the dash kits that are supposed to work for my car were all bad with climate controls. Not CarToys fault as Metra made them; the dash kits all disabled my defroster and killed by AC's ability to blow air from the leg vents. So what did the rep at CarToys do??? He found a solution and upgraded my stereo to work with a system that made all my Climate controls and my car sensors to be displayed and monitored through the receiver screen. What happened? It worked perfectly.nThey did not give up and made it right even though the Metra part issues were not their fault. They wired it perfectly. My car sounds amazing and I could not have asked for better. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name but the guy who made all this happen that the mega attractive Mexican guy with the awesome eyebrows. Look for him. If it helps ID him the receipts say sold by employee PYZZ and employee AR132411 he's got to be one of them.nMy bad history was the CarToys in Tukwila and because of them, I found Foss Audio [who are great]. But the Everett Location CarToys has given me faith in the company. I recommend the Everett Location Hard Core. Great Staff and they don't turn away. I even brought them a pie for the great work and effort they put into my car.

Nice work on the new sound system! Only flaw though is that the person getting me the speakers thought a 6x9 would fit. However, I mentioned it to them that it could not (them meaning the original person and another person at front desk). The worker waved it off. After the work was done, the install team told me they had to change out the 6x9 just like I said. The price was adjusted properly but they didn’t take my opinion seriously. Other than that did a good job and worth the money. Also, if they give you an estimated time to finish it most likely isn’t that. Went in to get the install done at 10 and they said it would be done by 4pm. Turned out I ended up going to get it at 11pm at night.
