DONT USE VIC! Read reviews 1st! Called Vic to stretch a short hall. Simple job right? WRONG! I chose him because the other quote I got was $500.00 dollars. Vic quoted $200.00, antho I still thought it was steep, as I new it was about an hour of work, I agreed. He came at 10:00 am, and was gone at 10:40 am. He charged us $165.00. Sounds great right? WRONG! He left after we looked at the job,( and it looked good at first so we paid cash and ask for a receipt. He said ok that his receipt book was in the truck. He RAN out to his truck and drove of like the house was on fire (no receipt). We were very upset be cause we could have written off the whole amount from taxes saving us about 30 dollars. So, ok, I figured we got ripped a little ($165.00 for 40 minutes) but the carpet looked stretched, no more wrinkles. We opened the closet door to see inside and the closet door fell off. After looking it over, I coude see where he had ruined the hardware and door. If ended up costing us $350.00 to get it replace and repaired. In February 2020, we had Vic's team install carpet and padding in our new home. He was honest, very helpful in accommodating to our time frame and they did a wonderful installation job. I would completely recommend Vic's Discount Carpet.

This guy is awesome Can always get you a good deal esp if you know what you want. He is so good at what he does and his installers are excellent. If you want a good deal, with quality carpet, call Victor!!

Absolute worst attitude and completely unprofessional person. We set up a time to meet for measurements and quote, he had to cancel at the last minute we were supposed to meet. No big deal, we rescheduled... 1st time was sort of a miscommunication, I let it slide. Second time he was late, I again let it slide. He promised an estimate to be emailed early next morning, never received it. Had to text and call multiple times to finally receive estimate a couple days after promised.. okay.. still not a big deal. After these incidents, and receiving the quote and re negotiating price and the work to be done, when I call to make the appointment to do the job, he tells me he can’t do t for the quoted price anymore , doesn’t allow me to speak or even explain WHY but that he can’t talk, he is busy and will call back. NEVER received that call back, so I send him a text and reluctantly tell him I’d be happy to rediscuss price and pay more if needed. The haste text back was to tell me he is DONE with me and he is out. He runs a shady service out of his van, is unprofessional each time we spoke, unreliable, and really wasn’t helpful with any questions I had regarding the carpet or price per square foot or anything! His quote wasn’t even cheap, it beat out one other quote by less than $100. Do not walk, RUN the other way!!
