5b's Bakery and Eatery

went here with my boyfriend on the way back from our trip. The mac n cheese was absolutely delicious and so was the biscuits and gravy! we ended up spending over $100 because it was just so darn good. We ate the cheesecake on our ride home and got sad when we finished it. As someone with celiac, it was so exciting stopping at a dedicated gluten-free bakery. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I will now be making the 1.5 hour drive to visit bi-weekly :)

An older woman who works here (I'm assuming the owner) was extremely rude to me. We came here to get some computer work done and ordered breakfast, coffee, pastries, and lunch while we worked. In total we spent over 50$ on food and tips in the span of a few hours.nnI was rudely surprised by this woman's aggressive attitude in asking me to leave the cafe while I was waiting for a lunch order to be cooked.nnI understand that the cafe's seating is at a limited capacity, but her attitude was uncalled for. The cafe was not even full when she approached me. Had she asked me to move outside to the completely empty patio I would have happily, instead she treated me like I spent no money and was leeching their internet. Was looking forward to bringing a cheesecake back to our campsite, instead I don't think I'll ever come here again which is a shame because the food is pretty good.nn****Edit In reply to the owners response*****nnAs i orginally stated the cafe was never full in the first place. The owner doesn't know what i bought while i was there because she was in the back the entire time except to berrate customers. She had such little idea of what was bought she asked me to leave while I had a 20$ lunch order in.nnAs there was always an open table while i was there (even when we were asked to leave) the smoke is irrelevant, a more accurate description of what happened is simply that the owner is a grumpy woman. I've since read several reviews that state other people having the same experience

Cutest place. Very well done. The colors, ambience, and food pairs perfectly for a foggy morning with their great Carmel Macchiato cup of coffee!nnWe split the “I Want It All” so we had room for a cinnamon roll and Pecan Crumble muffin!nnThanks 5B for a great start to the day!!
