The Cottage Salon

I went to The Cottage for the first time to have my hair completely done by Taylor, It turned out amazing and i couldn't be happier. She was very sweet, walked me through what she was doing and answered all my question i had. Plus the salon was SUPER clean. Cant wait to go back in August.

The only reason I'm putting one star is because there isn't a zero. My daughter had THE worst experience at this salon. Her stylist - Bridgette - talked down to her and talked poorly about her hair the entire time she was there. I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. Teenagers already struggle with self-image and this salon successfully added to this stress.

My stylist was very nice so I’m sad that I cannot have a better review. I had very long hair and asked for only 5-6 inches to be cut off with long layers. I measured my hair afterwards and she had taken off 10 inches. I am so sad. Also the layers are super choppy and not blended at all. It took me so long to grow my hair out and I just wanted a good maintenance cut, and now my hair is so short and the layers are weird :( and I don’t want to get the layers corrected and lose more length. Very very bummed.

Madison is great, always very friendly and willing to work with you on times.

I don’t know where to start. I asked for brown hair and my hair is an orange red. Comments were made that made me feel uncomfortable. I am Mexican and my hair is very thick. When my hair was cut one of the workers said “I don’t even have that much hair on my head.” When that same person swept my hair up the stylist said it “looked like an animal”. It was very unprofessional and I did not get what I paid for.
