We shared the BLT with chips and the Mac and Cheese. The food was delicious. Impressed with the house made potato chips which weren’t greasy but were very cheesy. Online ordering and curbside pick-up were seamless. Will definitely be returning.

SO GOOD. We stopped here after a recommendation from our Airbnb hosts and it did not disappoint. My husband had the club sandwich and says it was packed with flavor and more than enough for his appetite with the fries. I got the vegan migas (and would love the recipe), simple but delicious with great spices and enough for breakfast the next morning. We ordered online and registered and got a free slice of their vegan chocolate cake,too, and it was CHOICE.

One of the few restaurants I can get gluten-not food and vegan. I love sitting out on the patio, weather permitting. Consistently good food. Wish there was more that was gluten-not. My current favorite is the greens salad with steamed broccoli and pinto beans, all mixed together. Yum!

We've been coming to Flying Star in Nob Hill for many years, actually going back to the Double Rainbow days. Everyone at the Nob Hill location is always so good to us. Bob, Dawn, Travis, Roman, and the rest of the staff are absolutely the best. Bob has done a terrific job assembling a great team. We so happy to be able to dine in the restaurant again. We truly missed our friends.

Now I've been coming to this Flying Star for 20 years maybe? And I've seen quality go up and down during that time. With Bob as the GM here I'm really happy to see it returning to consistent quality. He's crushing it. Over the last 3-5 years especially it was hit or miss sometimes with food and service. Sometimes 5 star and sometimes 1 star. Overall all the Flying Stars were known for exceptional service. But the Central location had some ups and downs. Some people with attitude from time to time. And sometimes food that was below their norm. Happy to see Bob as the GM lately. He goes above and beyond to make sure things are going well. Even taking extra time to make sure your order is right and you have what you need.
