The place has an unforgettable ambiance, and selection of rare records and cd's is unparalleled. The owners are people of utmost integrity, kind hearts, and class, all of which are rare these days. Their superb artistic taste is evident from the visit. Even the t-shirts they sell are awesome! Soft fabric and unique design. Even if you don't live in GH, it's worth the drive.
This place is so cool and unique. The owners are so friendly and I just love going through all the records here. Definitely stop here if you are a music fan!
Small building but the owners are extremely nice! They are very helpful and recommended good songs to test on some of the speakers and even unplugged certain setups to test other ones. A lot of work went in to helping out and i appreciate it. I was very impressed by some of the speakers and my friend ended up buying a really nice set. They even gave him a free T shirt with his purchase. Cool place if you like HI-FI
I’m a business owner and a passionate audiophile of modest means. Erik did not ask me to write a review - my experiences there have been so exceptional that this review is the least I could do. Erik and his team are extremely knowledgeable, passionate, super friendly, provide over the top customer service and are just down to earth good people. I had spent some money on a demo turntable elsewhere and they took it in, spent a ton of time answering all of my questions, tuned up all of the turntable settings, fixed a ground issue I had thought was “normal” and my mind is blown by how good my turntable sounds now that I have it back home. Prepare too to have your mind blown and your jaw drop when you hear the sound from all the varied audio components in this small but not lacking audiophile’s dream of a shop. Gig Harbor Audio is now my one stop shop for audio components.
Great shop and none of the pretense that so commonly exists typical to its market. Quality used gear priced fairly and a diverse vinyl selection, good quality parts and accessories. I look forward to using their repair services
