Consulate of Colombia in Los Angeles

Everyone was really nice. They attended you with the utmost respect and made sure any doubts were cleared up. A calm place that does not feel hectic which means good communication is established! Highly recommended!!!

Terrible service at this place! They have phone numbers and web links that lead you to the same message...go to the web page, in which they have links and phone numbers that are there just for compliance, but they do not work or are obsolete. The phone number listed in the Los Angeles Colombiam Consulate is already disconnected or no longer in service. The only way to know if they are working is by going personally to the place in Beverly Hills CA. We do not know, if under the pandemia circumstances, the offices are going to be opened or not!! Does anybody know? We need to process documents with great urgency! Thank you for sharing.nTerrible el servicio en este lugar! Ellos tienen telefonos y enlaces que te llevan al mismo mensaje...ve a la pagina web, la cual tienen links y numeros de telefono que solo estan ahi para llenar requisitos, pero no trabajan o estan obsoletos. El número de telefono listado en el Consulado Colombiano en Los Angeles esta ya desconectado o ya no en servicio. La unica manera de ssber si ellos estan trabajando es yendo personalmente a el lugar situado en Beverly Hills, CA. No sabemos si bajo las circumstancias de pandemia, las oficinas van a estar abiertas o no!! Alguien sabe? Nosotros necesitamos tramitar documentos con gran urgencia! Gracias por compartir!

Talk about terrible service WOW this place takes the top prize! First, the person working the desk could care less about his fellow Colombian nationals. everything I encountered there was in its an pieces, a from by the way you need pictures , oh and you need a money order nothing else is accepted , and fill this and that and sit and wait , wait, and need to wait some more. Oh and the parking of $ 28 , yes! twenty eight dollars . The money order for $145, that was purchased at a local post office and resold for a $5 fee with the liaison ( they working) with each other down stairs, along with $20 plus from 4 camera pictures, required, but not disclosed until you through the second wait in line. All this and the end of it all I still have to come again another time since they only work till noon. It’s just incredible that one Country would be represented in a large city like Los Angeles. A total embarrassment to say the least. Don’t know what can it be done, but I sent a complaint to consular of Colombia in Bogota. Most likely nothing will change, but one can always try. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!
