The Personnel in LA usually are friendly, a couple of times I found a few with a rude attitude.nnI just want start with an apology, because most of the people at the Brazilian Consulate have been nice to me, with some exception that triggers my negative review.nnWhat I am really disappointed, is with the service that Brazilian Embassies and Consulates provide online to Brazilians in General. Procedures are not totally clear on the website, links don't open, often it requires you to create a membership to access certain forms, but the system doesn't provide you a way to create it.nnPlease, if someone in charge is reading my review; help us to have a system that is user friendly; simple to use, easier to understand.

To the woman that was working desk #10 on 3/6/2020. You are very the kindest and most helpful. Thank you for assisting me with my documents and making sure there were no errors.nnJason

Friendly staff and super helpful! The website confused me a little and the staff were more than happy to walk me through it whenever I needed help. It was a relatively slow ish day and I was able to get my passport renewed in 2 hours! Thanks Lisia!!

Well, be prepared to be treated poorly. An already stressful experience made much worse by impatient and disrespectful staff. The guy who helped us with our Brazilian passports was very kind, and helped improve the experience a bit. The lady who oversaw marriage license verification was unkind, unprofessional, and rude. Bottom line, go prepared, call them before you come to make sure all your documents are correct. In the end just expect to be treated like an animal and you wont be surprised when you arrive. Its not as if you can go somewhere else. Good luck!

The consulate is very stressful. It was a couple day process to get my visa approved to move to Brazil, but the employees are understanding and when you treat them with respect you get the same in return.nI can’t thank them enough for working with me in such a short timeline... especially Sandra at the VISA desk.nThank you so much!!!
