Wanted to know about travel restrictions during COVID. Impossible to talk to anyone.

Today I had to get a replacement passport. After filling out the online process and paying my fee it was an amazing experience. Follow the process, send the documents via email and it will be amazing. Thank you to all the staff here for making it so smooth and pleasant. You guys are awesome.

In September 2018, I had my passport stolen the night before my flight back to Paris. I realised my passport was gone at around 03:00 and my flight was at midday. I immediately applied for an emergency passport, as recommended by the Foreign Office in London who were open at the time, to try and get an appoint as soon as possible with the Consulate-General in LA. At 8:30 (30 minutes before opening), I received a call from the Consulate-General telling me that my request had been received. I was then informed that I could get an emergency passport if I got there at 09:00, without needing an appointment. This was still 3 hours before my flight from LAX. Nonetheless, I received my emergency passport there on the spot. The process of creating it took no more than 10 minutes. The service and care that was afforded to me was outstanding. Extremely proud and glad to have been dealt with so efficiently. Well done and thanks again!

Can't seem to talk to a real person with the current phone system. Very disappointing.

Cannot say enough positives things about Caroline and Alison.They were amazing and made our Christmas by getting us the Travel Document needed to get back to England.nnThanks so much.X
