Here is the deets of my visit guys.nnI went in on a Friday and the lady working there was handling an emergency request prior to my appointment time. Despite the emergency, she managed to get me in on time and process everything. She advised me of how to do the DHL wire for expedited service as well. I was out of there in 30 minutes or so. They had estimated about 30 days to get my passport (fast order). Fast forward 10 days and I get a call that my passport is ready for pickup. Give credit where credit is due, they really did awesome especially in the COVID-19 world. I picked it up and the same lady was there, she was very pleasant as the first time, and am ready for travels (ehen it is safe). Thanks BG Consulate. Great stuff.

The consulate office for passport/ID renewals does a great great job: fast and efficient explaining what you need to fill on forms. Just bring a self-addressed usps envelope ($8) from wherever you live and you’ll be all set. Don’t worry about cash, they accept cards.

The Bulgarians working there are extremely nice and always take the time to explain things and truly help you. However be careful when going downstairs to the UPS for a shipping envelope (they’re called “Photo Experts”). They’re literally ripping people off by charging them more than they’re supposed to! $25 for a ground shipping from LA to Vegas?? They won’t tell you the price until the last moment and try to charge as much as possible. I highly recommend you check other options like going across the street to FedEX (you can ask the Bulgarians at the consulate too). But be careful of the people downstairs.

I was very impressed with the people who work at the embassy. Everyone has done a very good job helping me through the whole process of obtaining a short term visa. They are friendly,answer their phone quickly and are very professional. And also,they answer emails very fast,it's like texting with them.). May God bless the embassy!
