Walmart Pharmacy

Don’t use them. I’ve had a terrible experience with them over the months I’ve used their pharmaceutical services: • You can’t see the status of your prescription if you order a refill from their app or website. • Their option to auto-refill prescriptions doesn’t work sometimes. • Their pharmacists wait until the last minute to resolve issues with insurance or with inventory supply. I’m mostly bedridden from severe and chronic back pain. I purposely meet with my pain specialist two days prior to refill so that the pharmacy has plenty of time to resolve issues before I run out and need the refill. On more then one occasion, I don’t hear anything from them. On the afternoon of refill - after not hearing anything - I call and find out there is an issue with insurance needing a preauth. It then becomes a mad scramble with the doctor to get the presuth. Well, today was the last straw. It happened again after things going smoothly for a few months and then the preauth situation raised its ugly head. This time, my doctor couldn’t be reached late in the afternoon and so I am being forced to experience absolute HELL for the weekend. I’m warning you, they are not dependable nor timely in their service, let alone the fact that their app isn’t full functioning and is tied to the entire Walmart shopping app (extremely inconvenient to quickly get to the pharmacy services). I’ll be also providing a review on my pain specialist, whom In firing after multiple issues with their poor service. I’m not high maintenance and - if anything - too forgiving and patient.

Staff could use a boost in morale. Not very nice or helpful. Rude at times even. Orders are messed up more often than not. Every once in a while I will speak to a person that is friendly and seemingly helpful. Pricing is the only reason I use this pharmacy.

Cale and his team (especially Bailey) went above and beyond to help me on a busy holiday evening- even staying late for my prescription. Good work! Many thanks.

This is the only place where I usually get my prescriptions at. The pharmacist is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They process it so quick that I can pick it up while i’m there shopping as well. It seems busy all the time but surprisingly I never have to wait in line that long. The pharmacy tech is also friendly and quick. I always have a great experience here.

BETTER HOURS AND SERVICE THAN THE ONE IN HURRICANE.
