I paid $95 dollars for a document to ensure I don’t pay fees for my furniture that I’m taking to my house in Mexico when I crossed the border. When I arrived I was told because of the document I must go to a different entry which was 2 hours inland, which I was never told at the consulate. There I was forced to pay $1000 to leave Aduana, without the payment I couldn’t leave back to the US or forward into Mexico. I was held outside from 6am to 5pm as cars past me with all my cargo.nnThis document is worthless and I was extorted at the border. The consulate lacks information and communication, thus putting your life at risk by being targeted by people. I anticipated to past through Tijuana at dawn with this document to be discrete for a reason.
